How To Become A Member

We would love for you to join the Lone Oak family! 

The first step is to simply request church membership. 

After your request is made known, there are three ways to become a member:

 

1.  BY PROFESSION OF FAITH AND BAPTISM:  If you have received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, you may publicly profess your faith in Him and your desire for scriptural baptism by Immersion. Information on how to be saved.

  

2.  BY LETTER:  As a Southern Baptist whose church membership is elsewhere and in good standing, should God direct you here we will be pleased to welcome you into our family.  We will happily take care of all appropriate details for transferring your membership. 

 

3.  BY STATEMENT OF FAITH: For persons who are saved and have been baptized by immersion after salvation but, for whatever reason, never became a member of a church or because of circumstances beyond your control, you are unable to procure a letter but can give a satisfactory testimony of an experience of Salvation and baptism according to God's word.
